An extraordinary opportunity to float the Sturgeon River in the breathtaking beauty of winter.
Float through tunnels of cedar trees blanketed in fresh fallen snow, past incredible ice shelf formations and among native wildlife that seek out the river's open water during the winter months. Experienced guides present a captivating narrative that brings this stunning river to life!
Dress as you would for most any winter activity, snowpants, boots with
warm socks, winter jackets,
ski gloves and hats, etc...
Hand and foot warmers are recommended
SRP provides all paddlers
with a USCG approved type III life vest.

Our trips are approximately 1 1/2 hours, depending on weather conditions
We've had paddlers of all ages enjoy our winter trips and no experience is necessary since you'll be floating
with one of our raft guides. All we ask is that you bring a sense of adventure!

Your camera or smartphone - you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to photograph the beauty of the snow covered cedar trees and abundance of wildlife we see on the winter trips.
Feel free to bring a little something in the thermos to warm you up along the way, hot chocolate, coffee, etc...
6 People plus a guide *7 for groups that include smaller individuals or youths. Depending on availability we can accommodate groups of approx. 24 people per departure time
2 People - $45.00ea

PRICE PER PERSON IS SUBJECT TO GROUP SIZE
When possible we may combine smaller groups of paddlers
to fill a raft and reduce the overall rate - For example a couple reserving a trip may float with another couple and then qualify for the 4 person rate.
