Sturgeon River Paddlesports opened for business summer 2014 with the purpose of providing paddlers with a quality experience on the river. We are passionate about the outdoors and want to provide a venue for others to enjoy nature to its fullest.
Whether you have your own boat or are in need of a few more, we have the equipment, accessories and knowledgable staff to facilitate your next adventure!
SRP has been a life long dream for Jamie Jacklitch. An outdoor enthusiast, he has a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management from Ferris State University and is an avid hunter, fisherman, husband and father.
For over two decades he has been maintaining the waters, guiding trips and outfitting groups of all ages and sizes, so that everyone can have a safe and incredible experience on the Sturgeon River.
Jamie will always go the extra mile for his customers ensure that their experience with SRP is the highlight of their vacation. If you've ever ridden in a van with him you may have been told to "have a rip roar'n good time" or even listen to Clutch en route to the riverbank....his dedication to the Sturgeon, his customers, friends and family is stronger than a Sturgeon River eddy!
